DESCRIPTION:     \nThe next in our series of events organised in partnership with Arise Innovation Hubs\, part of Anglia Ruskin University\, focuses on the key role that academic and industry partnership can play in maximising the impact of your research and/or innovation. \nThe benefits are\, of course\, considerable for both sides of the partnership. This online webinar explores these benefits\, providing tangible guidance for those keen to collaborate\, as well as case studies from those who have already established successful partner projects. \nBOOK YOUR FREE PLACE TODAY\nThe session will open with a talk from Caroline Sykes from the Medilink Midlands Innovation Adviser team. Drawing on her extensive experience across the sector\, Caroline will be highlighting both the reasons and routes for establishing\, developing and making the most of academic and industry collaborative opportunities. \nWe’ll also hear a joint presentation from Jenny Murray\, CEO of Life Science Group (LSG) and Abhimanyu Bose\, Knowledge Exchange Executive for Coventry University\, who will be sharing the story of their successful Knowledge Exchange Partnership (KEP)\, through which they co-developed CellShip\, a cell transport system without a cold chain requirement. The project was ratws ‘Outstanding’ by the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) – the highest rating – and also secured them a finalist spot in the in Medilink Midlands Business Awards 2022. \nOur final presentation will be delivered by Joe Lillis and Jorge Madeira Marques Pinto\, lead researchers on a collaborative project between Anglia Ruskin University and Italian company\, La Fattoria la Vialla\, exploring the potential health\, performance and sustainability benefits of olive oil products developed at their organic-biodynamic farm. \nAs well as an opportunity to showcase current successful projects\, this session lays the foundations for a series of support sessions that Medilink Midlands will be running in partnership with the Arise Innovation Hubs and will be your opportunity to find out more information. \nClick the link above to secure your place for this practical and informative online session.
