While at the Faculty of Chemistry in Cluj-Napoca\, Mihai was awarded a research scholarship for a study monitoring pesticide residue in Romanian wines\, while also working on developing extraction techniques to enable the identification of fake food products on the market. \nAfter a short spell at Ranbaxy as a Bioequivalence Scientist\, Mihai worked for 5 years at Nelsons within quality control\, quality assurance\, and later Regulatory Affairs\,  where he focused on food supplements\, cosmetics\, traditional herbal remedies and homeopathic remedies.
