SUMMARY:EMAHSN Innovation Academy – Live Q&A – Module F : Constructing a Business Case and Pathway Mapping
DESCRIPTION:The East Midlands Academic Health Science Network Innovation Academy is open to anyone to register. Once registered\, participants will have access to a range of modules\, each including a webinar\, live Q&A session with the experts and online resources. The webinars are on demand\, so can be accessed at any time\, with the live Q&A session for each module being scheduled throughout 2023. \nFor further details/to watch the ON-DEMAND webinar or join the live Q&A session please CLICK HERE to Sign up for the Academy and to register for this module.\nThe on-demand webinar was originally delivered by Vic Townshend (Lead Change Manager) and Sally Robinson (Head of Contracts and Partnerships)\, both formerly of the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. Since Vic and Sally have both moved on from these roles in recent months\, we’re delighted to welcome Joop Tanis\, Director of MedTech Consulting at Health Tech Enterprise\, for our Live Q&A session. \nJoop will be answering your questions arising from the on-demand content and will also be sharing his insights into what a business case is and the integral role they play for innovators to provide decision makers\, stakeholders and the public with a management tool for evidence-based\, transparent decision making. \nThis module also touches on ‘the five case model’\, which you will be able to use when creating your own NHS business case. Many people know how to create a standard ‘business case’\, but very few understand how to create an NHS/healthcare ‘business case.’ \nFinally\, the pathway mapping section of this module is a key part for you to think about how your proposal contributes to the achievement of NHS policy/priorities and trust objectives and plans. \nLive Q&A Speaker Profile \n \nJoop Tanis\, Director of MedTech Consulting\, Health Tech Enterprise \nJoop Tanis is Director of MedTech Consulting at Health Tech Enterprise (HTE)\, delivering technology advisory services and innovation management to industry and the NHS. \nHTE’s MedTech Consulting team provide tailored advice and support for medtech companies\, healthcare organisations\, universities and government programmes.
