DESCRIPTION:In celebration of its 20th year\, the Medilink Healthcare Business Awards will now celebrate success spanning the whole of the Northern Powerhouse. \nIn association with Insider\, this prestigious awards ceremony will see industry\, academia and the NHS come together to toast the achievements of health sector organisations across the North. \nThis year the event moves to Manchester and will take place on 7 March at the Lowry Hotel. Entries are invited from organisations right across the Northern Powerhouse from the towns and cities that are the lifeblood of the sector. \nWinners will be announced in the following categories: \n• Start-up\n• Innovation\n• Export\n• Outstanding Achievement\n• Partnership with the NHS: Primary Care\n• Partnership with the NHS: Acute Care\n• Partnership with the NHS: Digital Healthcare\n• Partnership with Academia\n• Beacon for Outstanding Contribution to Healthcare \n  \nThere will also be an overall winner in the Partnership with the NHS category drawn from the winners in the sub-categories. The winning company here along with the winners in the export\, innovation\, outstanding contribution and start-up awards will all automatically be entered to represent their region in the national Medilink UK Awards to be held on 18 April. \nThe evening is a showcase for the Northern Powerhouse and an industry so vital to the health and wellbeing of the region. It’s a chance to demonstrate the North’s capabilities\, innovation and commercial successes.
