SUMMARY:Midlands Engine Innovation Group Medical Technologies and Pharma Workshop
DESCRIPTION:The Midlands Engine (an initiative to make the East and West Midlands an engine for growth in the UK economy) completed a government sponsored Science & Innovation Audit over the summer. The audit was developed through a wide range of consultation and analysis of data across many different stakeholders. \nThe Audit identified four market driven priorities\, one of which is ‘Medical Technologies and Pharma’ which our region has world-leading aspects in and the potential to develop further. The Midlands Engine has established an Innovation Group\, in part to take forward the results of the audit and help build cases for investment in the infrastructure and ecosystem. The first opportunity to develop such proposals will be for potential inclusion in the Spring budget. \nYou’re invited to attend this workshop to support the development of proposals relating to ‘Medical Technologies and Pharma’.
