SUMMARY:NCC China Life Science and Healthcare Trade and Invest Mission
DESCRIPTION:Are you looking at China as a new market for your Life Science or Healthcare Business?\n  \nIan Curryer\, Nottingham City Council’s Chief Executive\, will lead a delegation of businesses to China from the 15th-23rd April. The delegation will attend the following: \n\nThe Health Industry Summit\, Asia’s largest Pharmaceutical and Medical industry event in Shanghai: 17-20 April\nThe China Britain Business Council’s “Investment Road Show” taking place during the Shanghai Technology Fair: 21-22 April\nA trade mission to meed Life Science and Healthcare businesses in Hangzhou: 21-22 April\n\nDid you know that it is predicted that healthcare spending in China will reach US $1 trillion by 2020\, up from $350 billion today. The market for Life Science and Healthcare is growing rapidly in China and demand for foreign products and services has never been higher. \nThe Health Industry Summit (tHIS)is  Asia’s largest Pharmaceutical and Medical industry event. With tens of thousands of products on display and delegates from across the globe\, we see huge potential for Lifescience and Healthcare businesses who are actively looking for business opportunities in China\, or companies who want to explore the China market in greater depth. The exhibition will have three specific focuses: Medical Products\, Pharmaceutical products and Pharmaceutical ingredients. \nIf you’re ready to trade with China why not take a booth (shell scheme).  A 9sqm shell scheme\, with prices starting from £2070\, will give you the opportunity to show off your products to representatives from China’s top Life Science and Healthcare companies. The event organisers will work with you to understand your product/service and introduce potential clients. The NCC China Team will also work with you to ensure you are connected with the event organisers and businesses from your sector. \nIf you’re looking to explore the market in China and can demonstrate an interest in a certain area of Lifescience and Healthcare then you will gain free access to the event and be plugged into meetings with businesses in the specified field.  You will develop a deeper understanding\, make new contacts and hopefully be inspired to set up new trade links with China.  The event organisers can also arrange tours of local Life Science and Healthcare businesses to help you understand the differences/similarities of businesses in China. \n\nIf you are interested in finding out more about this mission\, please contact Paul Edwards.
