SUMMARY:Royal Society of Biology East Midlands Branch Postgraduate Poster Symposium
DESCRIPTION:Postgraduate students are invited to present their research in a public engagement context at this Royal Society of Biology event. \nPosters will be judged by a team of experts\, with a cash prize of £100 available for the most accessible and well-described project\, and £50 for second place. \nThe day will start with Keynote Speaker Professor Geoff Park FRS\, giving a talk entitled ‘Abandoning a medical career for sex\, conflict and violence’. Geoff is a highly acclaimed scholar in evolution\, ecology and behaviour so this is a great opportunity to hear about his work. \nIf you’re interested in presenting your research\, the deadline for abstract submission is 10 May 2018. Please email your abstract (no more than 250 words) to philippe.wilson@dmu.ac.uk & klaird@dmu.ac.uk. \n
