DESCRIPTION:Understanding the role of Early Value Assessment for technology adoption in the NHS. \n\n\n\n\n\nThis workshop will examine the context of HTA and EVA’s in the commissioning and use of digital tools globally and the specific requirements used by NICE for the adoption of technologies within the NHS. \nHealth Technology Assessment is becoming increasingly used by health authorities globally to assess the clinical and economic effectiveness of Heath Technologies. Early value assessment (EVA) is a tool used by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) to assess those technologies that address unmet need and align with the NHS Long-Term Plan. \n\n\n\n\nThis approach allows rapid assessment of digital products\, devices and diagnostics for clinical effectiveness and value for money\, so\, the NHS and patients can benefit from these promising technologies sooner.
