The UK Global R&D and Science Investment Summit serves as a high-profile platform designed to showcase the UK’s cutting-edge scientific, research, and innovation ecosystems to a global audience of international investors, industry leaders, and policymakers.
Taking place at the Royal Society during London Tech Week on 8th – 9th June 2026. The Summit will be Co-Chaired by Professor Dame Angela McLean DBE FRS UK Government Chief Scientific Adviser Government Office for Science and is being developed with the support of UK Research and Innovation Department for Science, Innovation and Technology Department for Business and Trade together with fantastic partners such as Universities UK East Midlands Combined County Authority Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Arup Metro Dynamics and many more to come!
The Summit is open to partners from all UK Nations and Regions who want to showcase their outstanding science, R&D and innovation opportunities to the projected 30,000 investors and tech companies due to be in London that week, many of whom will be on Department for Business and Trade coordinated delegations. Our ambition is to create a true whole of UK Science and Innovation House at The Royal Society. The Summit will celebrate the extraordinary wealth of scientific excellence and investment opportunities right across our Nations and Regions. And it will invite a global audience to invest, partner and engage with UK science, industry and our world class universities.
