How the regulation of MedTech is changing from the 1 January\, what your business needs to get ready\, and how the UK will develop a new sovereign system. \n3. How the border\, imports and exports will work from 1 January; and \n4. Action that firms need to take on Data\, Immigration and Global Recruitment\, and EU research funding. \n  \nThe session will include a Q&A session\, as well as guidance on where to go for further information\, support and advice. \nSpeaker Profiles \n \nAlex Mclaughlin\, Head of International Trade and Medical Device Regulation\, Office for Life Sciences \nAlex is responsible for all of OLS’s work on International Trade and Medical Device Regulation\, advising Ministers in the Business and Health Departments. \nPrior to his current role\, Alex was Senior Private Secretary to two Health Ministers\, established the Department’s epidemic vaccines programme\, and worked for the Chief Medical Officer. \n  \n  \n \n  \nJess Kirby\, Senior Policy Advisor\, International Trade and Medical Devices\, Office for Life Sciences \nJess is a trade and medical device expert\, who has worked in the Business Department for three years – with roles focussed on Brexit and International Trade. \nPrior to this\, Jess trained as an NHS Radiographer and worked in a specialist Medical Device firm. \n  \n  \n  \n
