For further details on the festival\, please click here. \nSpeaker Profiles: \n \nDr Simon Oldroyd\, Interim Deputy Vice-Chancellor \nDr Simon Oldroyd is the University’s Interim Deputy Vice-Chancellor (iDVC).  Simon is Deputy to the Interim Vice-Chancellor on all academic matters.  His responsibilities include day-to-day academic leadership of the university and strategic and operational oversight and line management of the faculty Pro Vice-Chancellor/Deans and three cross cutting Pro Vice-Chancellor portfolios. \n  \n  \n  \n \nProfessor David Mba\, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research and Enterprise) \nProfessor David Mba was appointed Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Computing\, Engineering and Media in August 2017. In May 2019\, he also took on the role of PVC (Enterprise)\, and in March 2020 he also took on the role of PVC (Research). \nDavid’s current research is focused on machine condition monitoring\, machine fault diagnosis\, model based prognostics and machine performance prediction. \n  \n  \n \nProfessor Bertha Ochieng\, Professor of Integrated Health and Social Care \nBertha Ochieng is Professor of Integrated Health and Social Care\, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences\, De Montfort University. A key aspect of her research is in examining digital solutions that support development of integrated models of health and social care and community engagement. \n  \n  \n  \n  \nProfessor Barnaby Poulton\, MRPharmS FFCI; Hon. Professor of Digital Medicine and Director Digital Health and Care Unit. Digital Health Strategist \nBarnaby is a pharmacist by training who has switched his focus to digital health.  He has built and led multiple digital health companies and co-founded the Digital Health and Care Unit at DMU to support the evaluation of novel technologies\, enabling them to enter market and deliver benefits to patients. \n
