Please see details below regarding COVID-19 compliance.  \n  \n***Registration for this event is now closed****\nThe next Food Supplements Interest Group (SIG) will take place in-person on Thursday 7th  October.  The SIG will discuss Sleep – a holistic approach\, where nutrition and supplementation have a role to play. \nTopics to be covered: \n*Sleep – some truths and myths explained \n*Differentiation between food supplement claims and medicinal claims \n*Traditional herbal remedies – why are these so different? \n*Botanical food supplements – what are they and how can I use them? \n*What is a systems biology approach? \n*How are the principles of system biology applied in the world of nutrition? \n*A review of known nutrients used for sleep claims using a systems biology lens \n*Melatonin medicine or food supplement? \n*Dietary considerations \nTo book\, please complete the online booking form below.
