SUMMARY:Preparing your NHS Business Case
DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL \n \nThis interactive and informative event on ‘Preparing your NHS Business Case’ will enable you to prepare better business cases with input from the EMAHSN staff. \nThis free to attend event is being held as part of the ACTIS programme – a project part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund\, click here to be re-directed to further information about the project. \nDuring the event you will also learn about: \n– What is a business case\, what is its purpose and why it is so important? \n– Who reviews the business case and how are they evaluated from a commissioning point of view? \n– How to construct a good business case \nThe Challenge as a supplier to the NHS is often that when you have a product which from your perspective improves patient outcomes and saves cost you still cannot get it adopted by the NHS. This is often because there is not a fully developed business case\, without this a group within the NHS interested in taking on board a new product or service are unlikely to get approval of the case for change before procurement of the innovation can proceed. \nOrganisations that supply to the NHS are often challenged by the process\, timescales\, evidence and documentary requirements. This can often seem like an unnecessary complication\, or simply a reason to not issue a purchase order. A good business case is fundamental to successful adoption and developing a long term business partnership. Preparing the business case can also be difficult for your NHS contacts because they are busy or not experienced in their preparation and often even more difficult for companies with little or no experience of the process. \nProgramme \nSpeaker Profiles \nDelegate List \nPlaces are restricted to one delegate per organisation only.  \nNon-Attendance: should you book on Medilink East Midlands events and fail to attend on two occasions without letting us know\, we reserve the right to refuse to accept bookings from your organisation in the future. \n

SUMMARY:Preparing your NHS Business Case
DESCRIPTION:This interactive and informative event on ‘Preparing your NHS Business Case’ will enable you to prepare better business cases with input from the EMAHSN staff. \nThis free to attend event is being held as part of the SoLSTICE programme – a project part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund\, click here to be re-directed to further information about the project. \nProgramme \nSpeaker Profiles \nDelegate List \nFull Business Case Template \nIntroduction to NHS Business Cases \n  \nNon-Attendance: should you book on Medilink East Midlands events and fail to attend on two occasions without letting us know\, we reserve the right to refuse to accept bookings from your organisation in the future. \n

SUMMARY:Food Supplements Special Interest Group (SIG)
DESCRIPTION:Cannabidiol (CBD) – Pandora’s Box? A status update \nCannabidiol (CBD) continues to make headlines\, whether as the next big thing in food and drink or being the centre of controversy. In Jan 2019 a change in the status of CBD on the Novel Food Union List caused ripples across the wellness sector. No definitive position has yet to be agreed\, with trade associations lobbying hard both within UK and Europe. Whilst we are unlikely to have all the answers\, there will be external speakers present. There may be some resolution\, but we don’t have a crystal ball. It’s a great opportunity to meet like minds and be informed about this growing sector. \nThis free to attend event is held as part of the INSTILS programme – a project part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund\, click here to be re-directed to further information about the project. \nProgramme \nSpeaker Profiles \nDelegate List

SUMMARY:Preparing your NHS Business Case
DESCRIPTION:This interactive and informative event on ‘Preparing your NHS Business Case’ will enable you to prepare better business cases with input from NHS staff. \nThis free to attend event is being held as part of the SoLSTICE programme – a project part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund\, click here to be re-directed to further information about the project. \nProgramme\nSpeaker Profiles\nDelegate List \n
