DESCRIPTION:DCMS\, working with UK5G\, is running a set of online webinars for the 5G Create Project as part of the 5G Testbeds and Trials Programme. \nUp to £30m will be available in this open competition\, aiming to explore and develop new use-cases and sustainable business models for 5G applications and services. \nParticipants will be briefed on the scope\, eligibility and how to make an application for funding. \n5G Create is open to all sectors\, including: Creative Industries\, Utilities (Energy and water)\, Health and Social Care and Logistics. \nThe 5G Testbeds and Trials Programme is the Government’s nationally coordinated programme of investment in 5G. The Programme looks to harness areas where the UK has a competitive advantage – such as in scientific research\, engineering talent and our rich variety of technology businesses. DESCRIPTION:This webinar will providing details which are suitable for businesses planning to apply to Round 5.\nUK Research and Innovation’s (UKRI) Future Leaders Fellowships (FLF) is a £900 million fund that is helping establish the careers of world-class research and innovation leaders across the UK. The scheme will support early career researchers and innovators with outstanding potential in universities\, UK registered businesses\, and other research and user environments including Research Councils’ institutes and laboratories \nThe scheme provides investment of circa £1.5 million over four years\, with the ability to extend. It will enable the next generation of researcher and innovators to benefit from outstanding support to develop their careers\, and to work on difficult and novel challenges. The FLF scheme has already funded fellowships from business and academia from £300\,000 to over £2m. \nThis webinar is the second of two webinars.
