Ian is passionate about guiding manufacturers with advice\, consultancy support\, R&D tax credits and grant support that TBAT Innovation offers to their clients. \n  \n  \nMark Robbins – R&D Consultant\nMark joined TBAT last year\, coming from an innovation background having held roles in renewable energy\, space exploration\, thermal management\, automotive energy harvesting\, microwave and radio frequency processing and plastics recycling. \n  \n  \nYasmin Dalton – R&D Consultant\nYasmin joined TBAT this year and developed a keen interest in innovation while studying for her master’s degree. This involved being part of the 2030 ‘Agenda for Sustainable Development’ at the United Nation’s HQ in New York. \n  \n  \nCaroline Sykes – Innovation Advisor\, Medilink Midlands \nCaroline has over 15 years’ experience of supporting inventors and companies within the healthcare sector working at the interface between academia\, clinicians and industry. With a broad knowledge of innovation funding for healthcare organisations and has worked with start-up companies navigating the innovation pathway and funding options. With a PhD in chemistry\, Caroline has a passion to support the development of healthcare innovations from bench-to-bedside\, with the ultimate focus being positive patient benefit.

A key aspect of her research is in examining digital solutions that support development of integrated models of health and social care and community engagement. \n \nDr Mario Gongora\, Associate Professor\, School of Computer Science and Informatics \nDr Mario Gongora is the Faculty Enterprise Lead and a senior member of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Computing\, Engineering and Media. Dr. Gongora is a leading researcher in the subject of applied computational intelligence\, particularly in the fields of Data analysis in large and complex datasets and modelling Natural Phenomena\, including identification\, simulation\, and optimisation.
