SUMMARY:IN PERSON: Collaborating to Adopt and Upskill Digital Technologies in Manufacturing
DESCRIPTION:As a part of their Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and InterAct (UKRI) funded research project\, Pennine Healthcare are running a workshop focused on collaborating to adopt and upskill digital technologies in manufacturing:\n“There is a current lack of key digital technology skills in many UK manufacturers\, yet an increasing need for these skills. This workshop would benefit manufacturers\, local authorities\, education providers and technology companies seeking innovative approaches to enhance digital skills and promote the adoption of industrial digital technologies in the UK. Our multi-disciplinary team of researchers from the University of Derby\, Loughborough University\, Teesside University\, and Durham University aims to support manufacturing digital technology adoption and upskilling by linking manufacturers\, digital technology companies\, service/training providers\, policymakers\, and communities. \nThis initiative could be highly beneficial for your company and your suppliers\, particularly if they struggle to learn about and adopt new technologies or find the right talent to use digital technologies.” \nYou are invited to join the workshop and to register your attendance\, simply complete the short registration form by clicking the link below: \nRegistration form
