Co-located with the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre\, the Clinical Research Facility has more than 3000m2 of purpose-built adult and paediatric inpatient research space in one of the biggest hospitals in the UK. \nThe Trent Sim Centre comprises a full immersion high-fidelity simulation suite where in-situ simulation events can be created reflecting most clinical settings. Scenarios to evaluate clinical interventions and the introduction of new technology can be created with structured human factors analysis and feedback. She brings extensive experience with ERDF funded projects from her previous roles\, delivering business and funding support to Leicestershire businesses at the Growth Hub and LLEP. Victoria has a BA from Leicester University and also has hands-on experience of growing a successful\, innovative business. \n\nSarah Bolton\, Business Manager\, CHEATA\nSarah is the Business Manager at CHEATA\, a part of NUH NHS Trust\, which supports med-tech developers to gather evidence for NHS adoption. She is responsible for running CHEATA as well as selected project delivery including value propositions\, literature searches and clinical evaluation reports. Sarah was an experienced research scientist and prior to joining CHEATA was responsible for Healthcare and Medical Devices at Pera Technology. She has a PhD in Biochemistry and carried out post-doctoral research at Oxford and Leicester Universities before spending over 10 years at AstraZeneca as an Experimental Pathologist in the Respiratory and Inflammation Therapy area. \n\nDeanne Hewson\, Senior Healthcare Technologies Manager\, CHT \nDeanne is Senior Healthcare Technologies Manager for the Centre for Healthcare Technologies (CHT)\, a collaboration between The University of Nottingham and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) incorporating CHEATA.\nHer work focuses on supporting the development of collaborations between commercial partners\, academics and clinicians involved in healthtech research to enable the rapid translation of scientific discoveries into healthcare adoption. \n  \nCaroline Sykes\, Business Partnerships Manager and Paul Rice\, Business Engagement Manager\nCaroline and Paul are from the Business Engagement team within The University of Nottingham. Their work focuses on supporting the development of collaborations between businesses and the University through collaborative R&D\, consultancy and student engagement. Caroline focuses on supporting industry within the MedTech and Pharma sector.
