Life science businesses from across the Midlands came together on 24 May to hear about the latest support provided by Medilink Midlands.

The launch event on 24 May offered an insight into what the new ‘MeTAP’ sector focused business support programme can offer. Open to companies in the Nottingham City Council region, MeTAP can assist companies with various support streams, including the Innovation Accelerator Programme designed to accelerate innovation and provide the right skills and tools they need when starting out.

Working in partnership with the University of Nottingham, the aim of MeTAP is to support companies to accelerate innovation and provide the right skills and tools to enable companies to increase their competitive advantage.

Medilink Midlands Innovation Advisor Caroline Sykes was joined by speakers from CHEATA, the Centre for Healthcare Technologies and companies working within the University of Nottingham itself.
