The Government and NHS England have relicensed England’s 15 Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs). To better reflect their role as the innovation arm of the NHS, EMAHSN will change its name to ‘Health Innovation East Midlands‘ and WMAHSN will change it’s name to ‘Health Innovation West Midlands‘.

Please see below for an article from Health Innovation East Midlands, announcing their news.

We’re really excited to have Alison Mlot and Thomas Llewellyn join us on Thursday at Innovation Day to outline how these changes will look in practice for both organisations.

“We will remain a network of 15 organisations that shares knowledge and skills and ensures that successful transformations benefit services and populations across the country.”
