N2 Talent were recommended to BPR Medical through a Medilink Midlands member referral based on previous successful hiring projects we had with other Medilink members. This demonstrated the value of trusted regional networks in connecting life sciences businesses with specialist expertise.

The client

BPR Medical is a UK-based medical device company developing technologies that improve the safety and efficiency of oxygen delivery and anaesthetic gas systems. Its Firesafe™ and Ultraflow™ product ranges are used globally and have been honoured with a Queen’s Award for Innovation.
BPR Medical’s continued growth is underpinned by a strong focus on quality, compliance, and a people-centred culture.

The challenge

To support expansion and meet evolving regulatory requirements, BPR Medical created a new Regulatory Affairs Manager role reporting directly to the Managing Director. The position required deep medical device regulatory expertise, strong relationships with notified bodies, and responsibility as Person Responsible for Regulatory Compliance (PRRC) under EU MDR, making it a critical, standalone appointment.

The approach

Following the Medilink Midlands referral, N2 Talent worked closely with BPR Medical’s leadership team to define the role and map the UK regulatory affairs market. We identified professionals with notified body experience and a track record in EU MDR transitions, then managed a structured selection process with regular steering calls and transparent communication throughout.

The outcome

BPR Medical appointed an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager who has embedded PRRC accountability, strengthened notified body relationships, and is supporting the company’s expansion in regulated global markets—while aligning closely with its culture and values.

Testimonial

“Working with Simeon at N2 Talent was a collaborative and professional experience. The process was clear, well-managed, and underpinned by a strong understanding of our business and culture. We’re delighted with the outcome and the positive impact our new Regulatory Affairs Manager is already making.” Richard Radford, Managing Director, BPR Medical
